Spooked by the lightning flash, the basting mare leaps and throws her mounted knight to the sand-floor- blundering off into the dry storm.

Hope this is alright, I had a million and one references for the lightning, here's the best one:
The insparation came from the new medieval basting material... I was going to draw a rider. But i cant draw humans, you see. And oh! i never want to see another blooming triangle ever again.

Oh yeah... The skirt and tack was only inspired by the shape, not the pattern, but you can probably work that out yourselves.

This is really good! Oh, my, this should get featured.

If I can suggest something though, The front legs look a bit thin, and the hooves are a little small. Or maybe if the hooves were bigger, that would make the legs look thicker..I dunno.
But that's barely noticeable. You did a great job nonetheless.

Thanks so much guys, i needed reassuring, i'd started to get doubts on it.
But i can see that the back dips in a bit too much at the point of her hip, so if anyone see that, I'll try to make an effort to change that, so don't waste finger labour telling me!
