It's not finished yet, I can't draw it all in one go because my computer overheats.
This is a rhino, it is referenced from a photograph that I took at the West Midlands Safari Park.
I am posting this now because I am new to the realism style and would like to ask some advice:

Is it better to colour/shade a picture like this, in soft brushes, or hard brushes? My previous attempt at a realism style was drawn using the pen brush (x), and it came out okay but I think maybe it should be softer.. So can anyone offer any colouring advice please? ^^

Also, a note for myself, so I don't forget which photo I am referencing (I have like 23483290523 photos from the safari park and the wetlands centre xD): DSCF1315.

How is this a WIP? It's already awesome enough It's brilliant, and I'm sure it's gunna look even better when it's finished, I'm just hoping my head won't explode from it's awesomeness XD Good work!

Added colour/basic shading. I'll use a sharper brush to do more detailed shading next ^^
