This is a work in progress. I'm trying to learn shadows and highlights, and will soon practice backgrounds. Feel free to leave some comments! (:

Due to a series of
very unfortunate
events in my personal life,
I have been - and will continue
to be - very inactive on CS
and other sites. I still adopt
new pets, keep my pet groups
fairly updated and
partake in events
as best I can;
but I'm not able to
maintain my artshops
or take commissions.
I wish to be back at full speed
some time in the future <3

Thanks! I haven't quite decided on a background yet, I'm thinking clouds and rainbows ;3

I really like it. ;D The background is sooooooooooooooo good. Cute little powny, too! AND IT'S PINK!!!! : D : D : D
The only suggestion i have (but it doesn't pertain to this picture): I find that doing simpler shading and highlighting on chibi animals make it look cuter by the more simplistic design. (:
^^ Doesn't have anything to do with this picture, though. It looks good just the way it is. ^_^

Yeah, as i said I'm not supergood with shading and highlighting, just playing around ^^ I'll certainly keep what you said in mind though, and try to practice simplistic shading and highlighting too (:

Actually, I like to think of it as a he. ^^ And he is not supposed to be "frowning", he is feeling tough and cool and proud as he looks down on the rainforest :3
