okay the timers long because i drew something else and then got too embarrassed to talk about my lame H:ZD oc so I drew these awful robots instead <\3 these creatures sure are complex in nature, but I like the little watcher it's my favorite. I think these count as animals?? sorry if they do not.

any way, wall of rambling text go:

I've been replaying the first game and have been struck by how...alone? you are most of the game. Like, there are other people there, some of them are even your friends kind of, but Aloy keeps going through these emotionally devastating moments and no one seems to really...care? Offer real emotional support? Some of the Nora are sorry about the proving/maybe Rost but I just did the Eluethia-9 mission and she's really upset about the clone thing (she literally says she's not a real person, and no one ever refutes that idea that I remember, though I guess Sylens is the only one who hears it) She's got, what, Sylens?? Sylens to talk to about all this terribly depressing knowledge she's been learning about not only hr self, project zero dawn and the fate of the world?? That guy sucks, he does not care about what she's feeling and says as much I'm pretty sure. She can't really explain it to the Nora, and they're all just upsetting her even more with the whole anointed thing any way, and she just keeps moving forward immediately after bc what other choice do we have really but she's obviously still messed up about it. Like no wonder she's Like That no one is being nice to her (unless we've been solving all their problems, I guess, but I feel like that's not really helping) Sorry if these is incoherent I'm just feeling some type of way about this.

i haven't played HZD or the second one in forever but yeah,, i noticed there really isn't much.... whats the word, interaction? or maybe more character building/development between Aloy and the Nora (at the minimum). To me the story is a bit lacking, its great dont get me wrong but there's no companionship between the characters (its gets.... a tad better in the second game but it's been gosh 7 years since i've played it? i played it as soon as it came out and i don't think i finished it). it's like most of the cards were placed into the "explore, dinosaurs, machines, go fetch things" aspect of the game (which i love don't get me wrong) but it really didn't focus on the characters and interactions. in terms of Aloy, i feel like that's how they intended for us to feel? in terms of her being outcasted but it never goes past that, just an outcast. when in reality she does so much more than that and yeah the other characters have little to no recognition or care about what she (or we the player) do at all. i do kind of wish they fixed that a little more in the second game (it's a little better but if my memory serves we're pretty alone again in the second one). just my two cents on it, you brought up a good point.

also i adore the little watcher. i love their "tuck and roll" animation but without the tuck XD

my only gripe about the sawtooth in the game was they totally are scary in the beginning but they lost it after the 3rd or 4th time killing them. and also i cant have more than one with me at a time (let me have a pack of them
Guerrilla)


also i'd love to see your oc <3 <3 it may be lame but im down to be lame together - i love HZD quite alot <3
