Yup, more doodles! This is part 3 of me trying to figure out these guys. Still no name for them.
Ignore the super simplistic colors cuz I was just slapping it in so it wasn't just their eyes being colored...
I realized as I was drawing that there wasn't a way to distinguish the demonic from angelic by their heads alone.
I figured that if I gave the "demonic" ones dark gray sclera and the "angelic" ones white sclera that would help!
I'm also thinking of having their eye color match the color of their halo & the end of their tail (spade/orb) ???
The "demonic" halos are always broken with floaty bits, but now they can also be wonky/dented, too.
I might come back to this tomorrow & try putting some actual designs on these. It's midnight so I'm tired!

These are quite cute! Something I'm curious about is if the legs would be considered 'fore' or 'hind' legs, or do some have fore legs and others have hind legs? From your doodles, there seems to be a mix /gen /curious

Would also be very interested in an official adoptable thread for these guys. They make me think of tatzelwurms but in a good way :3

Apologies for taking so long to get around to replying to this.
The past 2 weeks have been utter chaos for me irl & I have been exhausted.
Then, of course, when I had the time (and it cooled off from 90+° F) my tablet stopped working!
I spent like 2 hours restarting my computer & messing with stuff just trying to get it going again.
So here it is, near 1 a.m. & I'm just now getting a chance to respond to this like I wanted to earlier today. T_T

Thank you! I've tried so. very. many. species attempts so making these into something is the plan.
Whether it gets executed and lasts...??? Definitely remains to be seen.

The legs are supposed to be forelegs, but I can definitely see where there could be some confusion. Oops. lol
Also thank you for reintroducing me to tatzelwurms...that's given me some name ideas for the species! ~<3

In other news . . .

I have started playing around with lineart! These are on a 300x300 Oekaki canvas.

The one on the left has a wider face. I fixed it when I realized it was too narrow for adding details like eyes.
Now the face doesn't look quite so smushed as it does on the demonic one on the right.
