Yep.

Wanted to do a higher-quality version of a piece from not too long ago. Painting practice just for fun, translucent-skinned and shimmery merman design for Uldren Sov, a concept I'd had in mind for ages. Yes I was a fangirl. Yes I thought of silly things. But who ever said silly and pretty were mutually exclusive?

Didn't try very hard on the face, I can't stand drawing humanoid faces. (Edit: came back and tried slightly harder. Slightly.) The background was also lazy as heck. Mainly the tail + torso are what I focused on. I think the scales looked better on the first piece, iffy on this one, but I did the painting on a single layer so I don't care to remove them :P
The other piece is more crisp, though less anatomically accurate. I wonder if the bg should've been darker on this one
