oh boyyy robor angst
ive been wanting to work on my painting abilities and i think forcing myself to paint an android was the either best or worst thing i could do
i had a lot of fun with this though despite doing it the most annoying way possible (i did it on 2 layers not counting linework)

so basically, crux, the robit pictured above, is an assassin android created by and for the US government. The secretary of defense is the one in charge of him, her name being Dorothy J. Dorothy is not a good person. Crux looks up to her greatly and loves her. She however, only views him as a weapon. If he gets broken or dies, he is a failure, nothing more. That's why this piece is centered around the song love hate love by alice in chains. i think it perfectly describes their relationship. she is the entire reason he goes rogue. he doesnt want to kill, he wants to live, but physically cannot under her reign. his adoration turns to resentment, but a part of him still loves her. (spoiler alert: he slimes her)

i love how it turned out
may draw dorothy later because i have her ref sheet all drawn out but haven't drawn her on here yet.
