:3 Some ideas I wanted to get out before I forgot again..

Center stone is either mother of pearl or pearl itself. The other colored pieces are either precious stones or bits of glass (character won't tell, and even if he did, it's the meaning behind them that makes them special.)
Brooch made from a turtle shell found near a riverbed.

Necklace is leather wrapped around a claw gripping a pearl.

Pattern is for cloak fabric. How big the pattern is or how subtle the pattern is, I'm not sure. ^_^' But it's useful for camouflage.
