Thank you!!! It is actually a protectant for her finger, similar to a a finger splint :3

While it is there to protect her finger, it serves a dual purpose in the lore I have for her. To sum it up, it is used as a reminder that one must think before they act. The splint is both delicate and strong-soft and sharp where it needs to be. Hopefully this makes sense!!
