Well, it started as a concept to draw this fancy outfit (inspired by the silk apparel sets on Flight Rising) on this character. I started this like two months ago and worked on it intermittently, over, as you can see, a cumulative 17 hours -- the longest I've ever spent on a piece. I don't know if the time and quality are proportional at all, but I'm calling it done now, even though I couldn't figure out the silk texture I wanted. There are so many layers I think Oekaki wants to cry
