The nobles and the demons were long time enemies. However, a previous demon named Flint had been born a demon, but chose to fight a noble. However, more things were yet to come. Prince Fynn had once felt a tug in his heart, so his father had engaged him to the dog named Topaz. When an attack from the nobles killed Topaz, he was distraught and vowed to hate Venus' father for the attack. However Venus' father died, so he sought revenge on Venus. On the day exactly two years after Topaz's death, Prince Fynn was on his way to her grave with mistletoe when Sirius rushed in:
Sirius - Forgive me, Prince Fynnbar, but I have captured the noble Venus on yuor orders. The rest of my patrol are heading off the nobles who are trying to rescue her.
He thrust he in front of him, dipped his head and returned to his patrol a few clearings away.
Prince Fynn - You are Topaz. The ...
But he forgot all about his victory speech, as he realized who his heartstrings felt a pull for; her
Topaz - Why do you need me?
Prince Fynn - I... I ... you. What do you see in me?
Topaz - (blinks) - I see your demonic sind. The courageous side you use to lead them with. But I also see your gentler side. One tinged with passion
Meanwhile, Crow, brother to Prince Fynn was watching from above, in a secret spot.
Crow - (mutters) - My brother, my idol, my leader has fallen in love with a noble? I'll have to put an end to it...
So Crow covered the tips of his claws in poison, before entering from the clearing with a noble (Kai) in pursuit.
Kai - Topaz!!! I'll save you!
Prince Fynnbar - Crow! Guard Topaz while I fight Kai!
Crow - (rolls his eyes) - Just like my brother (muttered)
Crow scratches Topaz on purpose

And now I do not need to carry on
For you know what happens in the end
Topaz dies from Crow's poison
And the Fynnbar joins her with the same method
Crow realizes his foolish mistake and stabs himself
While Sirius and Kai
A demon and a noble
