A bit of a fun piece of art for myself.

Featuring:

Clifflcan's Venomstar and Birchclan's Jackalstar

Jackalstar, formerly Jackalbane, was a warrior of Cliffclan at the same time Venomstar, formerly Venomsnap, was.
The two of them were mates.
After the collapse of the main cavern of cliffclans camp, the clan had a hard time just existing. Hunger, starvation and sickness ran rampant in the aftermath of losing so many cats.
Venomsnaps mother was leader at the time and Venomsnap stepped up quite fast after her mother started declining in health.

One day however, Venomsnap woke up to find her mate not at her side and Jackalbane was gone and was not seen for many moons.
Cliffclan kept declining, cats kept dying or dissapearing.

The night after Venomsnaps mother died and she became Venomstar, was the first gathering Cliffclan attended in a long time. The clan of thin, frail cats with their rib cages showing were a stark sight next to the other cats that were healthy.
And when Venomstar spotted a familiar, well fed cat sitting with the other leaders, fur shiny and healthy, they lost it and confronted their former mate.

Birchclan lost a lot of sympathy from the other clans, while the outburst got Cliffclan the help it needed from the other clans except Birchclan.

However things between Birchclan and Cliffclan are incredibly tense right now.

I love the idea of lithe little Venomsnap and her big Beefy girlfriend Jackalbane.

And now they can't stand each other haha
