ok, I have no idea how to make stuff transparent does anyone have a tutorial on how?

You can try running the image through LunaPic

Once the image is uploaded, go to Edit and the bottom option should say Transparent.

Edit: Since you said chickenpaint, what are your links? Have you tried changing the format=auto into format=png? When posting the image?
