Today I learned that the eraser can have pen pressure. (And that any tool can turn off/on pen pressure.) My world has forever changed. Now I know how people can draw such clean lines!

This was supposed to be a serious drawing, but after I clicked the white circle, I felt the need to make a comic about it.

i use my mouse for oekaki and because i pretty much only color stuff in it's no big deal, but i had no idea what the buttons were for at first because, well, mouse

Haha, this is cute. It does beg the question though - one I've been wondering but didn't think to ask - why do you use oekaki instead of a drawing program like gimp or krita? Asking as a curiosity, I want to understand the merits people see in it c:

I knew about it, but it also never worked for me... at least before I started using the laptop I'm on now. I should try toggling it now (with different pen setttings, 'cause I changed my pen to always be a solid line on Oekaki 'cause I was just so used to it)... but yea, other than that, I've accidentally hit the toggle so many times and haven't noticed any changes (even before I changed my pen settings) ^^'

Haha this is hilarious!! I learned about it when I read the oekaki starting guide but still consistently forget to turn it on for the eraser.

omg this is such a mood
i actually recently found out there are two settings for the transform tool and my mind was blown
there's so many small things you can learn about the oekaki program

the other tools have pen pressure too, the watercolor and smear brushes
