Kinda out, kinda proud, very happy, Alastor.

The whole reasoning behind this is because I am nonbinary/questioning my gender and a friend of mine wished me a happy birthday today and used the name I had forgotten I told them I called myself in secret which is Alastor.

But this little suprise made me super happy and I told my other friend who didnt know I called myself Alastor and said they would call me this from now on instead of my legal name and while I won't change my legal name or come out to my family it makes me ecstatic that they took the time to aknowledge not only the fact that I am jot out to my family and will never be (and that they're okay with that), but also to remember a detail i mentioned offhandidly months ago.

It's awesome that your friends used a name you prefer to your legal name. I remember the first time I heard my chosen name and I was over the moon. Queer joy is contagious and infectious. I hope you experience much more of it. <3
