wolf help

this may be incomprehensible but there's some other stuff underneath it as well? Your improvement is good! I am not good at compliments but it is much better than the old one.

but anyway the main point i was trying to get across is mostly just wolf specific. their heads are a little more slopey. real wolves muzzles are kind've slim as well but i have a habit of making them bulkier bc i like the way it looks. they also hold them lower than most domestic canines especially when walking. it gives them a straighter back line.

a big thing that helped me with like, leg placements is looking at the bone structures of different animals. it gave me a better sense of the limitations of the limbs and stuff. even mine still end up looking squirrelly sometimes but with persistence things make more sense over time. or you can draw them crazy on purpose, sometimes that's fun and cool.

hopefully this is helpful and not entirely nonsense. if there any like, more specific questions i can try to give some kind of answers.

edit: I posted it in editables on accident but like whatever lol. maybe my nonsense will help someone else too. i'll just delete it eventually.
