Wings of fire was created and is owned by Tui T. Sutherland. These are just my re-imaginings of the different dragons and their societies.

Icewings are the smallest species of dragon in pyrriah, specialized to thrive in the tundra. They have large paws adorned with retractable claws, as well as average sized wings. Their wings are primarily used for climbing or added traction against the ice, using their serrated claws at the end to dig into ice.
Their most unique feature is their fur, which covers their necks thickly, offering extra insulation against the arctic temperatures. Their tails are thick, mainly used for combat or hunting, whacking their spine covered tails against foes. They have large mouths with sharp teeth, used to rip apart and easily eat meat and other proteins. They most commonly eat their foods raw. They also have whiskers, because i said so.
Icewings are most commonly seen sporting white, gray, blue, pink, purple, and silver scales, although some more rarely have hints of yellow, oranges, and greens. Their fur is almost always white, grey, or silver. Their eyes are almost always a solid black, but some may be more akin to a dark blue or stormy gray. They have forked tongues, and their paw pads, tongues, inner ears, and tear ducts are typically a deep, dark blue color but may also show a dark grey or black.
Icewings are known for their sturdiness and will-power, and are never ones to back down from a challenge. Their societies are built of caste systems, with icewings being born into their societal class. A Queen rules over the icewings while she is living, and only when she dies may the next Queen take her place, most commonly her eldest daughter. If the Queen did not have children, or was unable to have children, then her closest living relative will take over until a suitable Queen is found.
They are most skilled at weaving great tapestries. No matter the household, there is bound to be tapestries on the walls, the floors, and beds. Other queens who are allied with the Icewings can expect tapestries from the Icewing kingdom as a sign of friendship and honor. Most tapestries are made to tell a story, but some are simply made to keep beds a little warmer, more similar to a blanket.
They are very serious, and have very dry and literal senses of humor. Icewings are a more logical species, and value fields of study similar to mathematics, science, and literature. They are seen as opposites of the Sandwing tribe in appearance and culture, and as such are naturally adverse to each other. If it werent for their lifelong feuds, Icewings would be close allies with Nightwings, as both tribes hold similar values.
