i saw a post elsewhere where people were happy to see the artist's design process, bc it helped them with creating / understanding designs. so here it is, in all its messy glory, if youd like it.

i had the most GENIUS dnd character idea (imo but like. i have 0 experience).
but ive never played it, have no one to play it with, and i cant even talk about the character because it would ruin everything if i did play it JKNBH

so i got rid of some of that energy by attempting to design their sword. i wanted something a little elaborate but not totally out there. uh. as you can see that didnt really work. blue blades??? dragon hilt???? gold filigree?????


still dont think any of them really fit anyway. the light one is too light and the dark one is too dark. and the hilt looks like a dragon?? unintentional but i did modify it a little bit after i realized that to make it look more like a dragon. but they have nothing to do with dragons. i like the blade shape though,, maybe i'll mix it with 2's hilt.
