Poseidon's Protector

Out along the beach, there is a bundle of rocks overlooking the beach covered in dying leaves and browning moss. Each night the darkness and shadows forming from each crack makes the boulders look almost like a living being. The moss brightens, the leaves seem to float up and form thriving trees, and the scent of night-blooming jasmine drifts into all the beach-side houses to help those near sleep peacefully.
