Raptor Island Color Guide : Patterns 1

Raptors come in all sorts of patterns and can have multiple combinations of patterns they can also be solid colors. Patterns can be any of the base colors or darker shades of the raptor's base. Patterns provided are most common but raptors can be any pattern one would see on a reptile.

Going from left to right, top to bottom.

Half Tiger Stripes
Stripes located on head/neck, legs, and tail

Full Tiger Stripes
Stripes located on the entire body

Horizontal Stripes
Stripes going across body starting at jaw and can go all the way down to tail. Can be multiple stripes or one.

Thick Splotches
Spot clumps that start on the spine and forms in thick groupings going down slowly spreading out. Can be so thick almost looks solid.

Splotches
Spot clumps that start on the spine and thin out as they go down towards legs. Can be very patchy.

Speckled
Spots that spread out across the body and don't clump.

Light Speckled
Spots that spread out only on the head/neck, legs, and tail.

Banded
Three or more stripes that band around the body.

Snake Spots
Any pattern seen on a snake. (shown exampled; python)
