Head shape practice

Postby Raptocidic » Sun Jan 02, 2022 8:05 am

Trying to fix same face syndrome. Mostly focused on canine & feline anthros as thats where my same face syndrome feels worse, although thats probably because I draw anthro more often.

Notes:

squared muzzles often read as canine, rounded muzzles read more as feline.
rounded but wider muzzles is more likely to read as big cat, rounded smol muzzles tend to read as small cat.

anthros often need an extra cheek circle or cheek fluff, but not always.

its difficult to make large forehead shapes anthro without it looking strange, although this can be used to give a 'big brain' vibe if pulled off successfully. the character will likely still look kinda strange.
