"selenite snails are anthro creatures that live on the moon. they typically live under the moon's surface, inside of huge tunnels and burrows. they survive off of minerals as well as bizarre worms and insects that live inside the moon, and receive hydration from ice. they sport long nails for digging. they have long, stringy tails used for feeling underground. along with those, they have antenna-like feelers atop their heads. they can be practically any shape. if they break, they do not return to their original shape. they also have furry false wings on their backs, also used for feeling. they range from small to large, and they cannot fly with them. though rare, they may have multiple pairs of them. they also rarely have wings on parts other than the back, and sometimes, have none at all. they have a modern society with "towns" and "cities" far under the surface of the moon. they normally come in dull, cool colors, but that is not true for all of them."
