I bet you clicked this thinking I meant Loki right? Sorry, not this time. Stick around for a while and listen to the tale of this small autumn god. Not Carpo, the Goddess of Autumn, but instead Iniko, the tiny trickster of the season. Lurking amongst the trees, gently rustling the branches and snickering as a leaf falls on your head. For you, it's simply a minor inconvenience, if that at all. But for him, it's the most hilarious thing he's seen all day. You see, he can't shapeshift or play malicious pranks, he just thinks seeing you caught off guard is pretty comical. Getting a laugh out of rustling your newspaper with the cool autumn wind, or maybe it tosses your hat off, leaving you fumbling in public. It's the little things. However, he still spends time after all his playful tricks, to view the Earth as the colours turn. It's truly beautiful, isn't it? The world turning golden, to signify the end of the warm summer nights. All the small changes and colours, they're truly something to stare at in awe. Maybe next time the wind gets you, or a leaf falls on your foot, it could be Iniko, reminding you of one thing:
never forget about the little things that light up your life.
