the wolves had followed the mother. so to save her child.. She had to leave.

She kissed him goodbye. and made sure he was deep enough in the cave where it was warmer, and so the wolves wouldn't catch his scent. Her eyes filled up with tears as she gazed upon his loving peaceful sleeping face, her mind turned to when she first saw him after he was born. She cried and let a tear drip down on his cheek, then she put on a brave face and ran out of the cave the wolves saw her dashing away and quickly followed...

Her child waited in the cave for his mothers return....

but she never did...
