Oki is one of my most favorite characters from the PS2 game Okami.

I've heard of that game everywhere but i barely know what its about! It annoys me that I'm this random person left out. I'm already random enough

Oh, well it's a really cool umm.. like Japenese game, you play as a wolf in the game, Like a wolf god. In the game the story is that this wolf defeats a 8 headed dragon ever several years, but in the game you loose all your god powers so you go around adventuring and helping people, there also are cool kind of mini games to do too. Like fishing, fighting. It's really fun.

Okami's story is more like, over the years people have stoped having faith in the gods (because it is believed, in religion, that god get's his power from us believing in him) so they lost their powers. Shiranui the Original Sun God was defeated while battling the lord of darkness who is in the shape of an 8 headed serpent. like a army that just lost their leader the other gods hid themselves as the darkness spread over the land. A warrior from a village was the one to seal away the evil with the help of Amaterasu's last bit of energy. Everything was ok what had happened years ago was now a legend of which people of the village passed down and joked about. A man who was teased about being the decendent of that legendary warrior wanted to prove that he was indeed not the decendent of this great warrior so he went to the temple where the serpent was sealed away with a sword. He was the only one who could touch the sword because in fact he was the decendent of Nagi and as soon as he pulled the sword the 8 headed serpent was released and quickly began to spread his evil. The world was falling weak from being suffocated with such evil ora, with the last of her strength a cherry tree sprite brought a statue of the legendary Amaterasu(is the god name)/Shiranu(is the name the villagers gave to the white wolf) to life and this became the incarnation of the sun god her name is Okami/Amaterasu/Amy so now this new okami has to gather up the powers from the other gods and wake them up from their slumber, put faith back in the people's hearts, and make the 8 headed serpent and his minions perish so that the world can once more be put at peace.

Oh yeah mine did too, I think it was because i cleaned it and didn't put it back together in the right way though i had cleaned it before and it worked right. I now have okami for the Wii :]

Is the Wii one kind of the same? Like the same story and all that???

Same exact story, just different way of playing it.

Ahh, that's cool. Some of these days i'm gonna clean up my old PS2 and see if i can't get Okami to work.
