- hair types:
- bald
- tentacle hair (no longer than the height from the head to the front paws; those are reserved for the demigods ;3c)
- silky hair
- kelp like hair (strands can be any width)
- fin on the head as well
- Fin types:
- can be literally any kind!
- Other edits that can be on them:
- glow/luminescent markings
- scars, ofc lol
- and missing limbs - can be from a scar or from something else
- Traits that can't really be on them:
- wings (except these, because these are on existing fish! so these are good, this can be on them)
- object/visible skull/no heads
about them so far wrote:
- they were seen as demigods or something, descendants of the god of water
- they try to keep the waters of the planet as clean as possible
- some squippies, a very small number of them, are "corrupted", meaning they do the opposite of cleaning the waters
- they don't really like being near humanoids but there have been rare instances of a squippy and a humanoid living together like friends
- these guys are clever when it comes to anything water-related and anything that lives in said waters, but few know much about the world outside their home

trivia
- they sleep upside-down close to the surface of the water, letting the lily pad on the end of their tails float on the surface just like a normal lily pad
- they're omnivores! they choose which type of food they wanna go with :D
- they can breath both underwater and on dry land, though you'll rarely see any of them walking on land during the day~
- They can't manipulate water like their godly ancestors could, but they did inherit the ability to speak with and understand fish and other animals living underwater!
