did not have the best day. some kids called me 'teacher's pet' because i wanted some lights on (someone even claimed 'the lights hurt my eyes' but we always have the lights on). there is a boy in my class who does nothing but irritate me and i already lashed out at him and swore on friday. also apparently, according to the same girl who said the lights hurt, my school prject is not kwanzaa themed. HA. i have the seven principles in there, the candles, the cooking, an instrument... everyone is always so rude/doesn't want to talk to me, just complimenting somebody else's project i was told to 'go away'. same girl (again) told me i was IN HER WAY when all i was doing was using the glue gun. also she attracted a crowd to come gawk at my project. it is kwanzaa themed, so what if i drew small children and disproportionate adults? if i did cats it wouldn't be very related and that is the only way i can draw people! (expecting to hear ppl be like "oh but are pumpkin ghosts kwanzaa" and "are wheelchair stunts kwanzaa") seriously tho, i put lots of kwanzaa stuff in there. people just don't care to look past the first few things, to the catfish (kwanzaa food) being prepared for a meal (in the background). my teacher said having sirenhead in the locker with his fingers on fire as the candles is irrelevent, but she never said i couldn't draw in the way i'm used to! under pressure from the large group of gawkers, i simply described my project as "children enslaved the adults" and now i feel embarassed
