on your walk home, you notice somebody eyeing your new purchase. after a few minutes of them following you, you question them about it. they shyly ask if you were willing to sell the dagger. turns out they were the owner of the dagger and when finding they were outmatched in the cave they manged to drop it on the way out. small world huh
