oh gosh man ,, i think ik what they mean by this? because uh. ska sorta had three waves: 1 Jamaican ska, 2 two tone ska, and third wave/ 90's ska punk. it fell out of the mainstream at that point so i think its referring to ska music after 2000? maybe it includes 90s ska too :thinking: but yeah! i'd imagine thats like skatune network and kill lincoln and stuff like that

yes i definitely think sublime would come under modern ska punk! i dont really listen to them outside a few songs but yeah they'd def be under that. some other artists i think fit the bill are ones like skatune network, glass beach, kill lincoln, catbite, maybe the frights? im not sure if modern encompasses the 90s as well but in he case it does that's stuff like reel big fish, less than jake, mustard plug ect
