Now that this has sufficiently rotted in my saved drawings for a month or so, I'll post it lol.If you have a better, but still pronounceable name that's not Arcane for (dead) colonizers, among which are scientists and biochemists from Earth, then I will be wanting to confiscate it. If not... oh well.
Hey, what if I alternatively called the Arcane scout dogs... Arcanines? *gets assassinated*.: Design, & other notes :.
- About-- These towers, called Arcs, are remnants from a time when humans arrived on them as ships. They named this planet Genesis 4, as it would be the fourth colonization of the people of Earth. It was not a desolate planet, but besides some flora, there were no creatures roaming on the land. With them, they brought fauna and flora from Earth, with the intention of creating ecosystems. They lived in them as settlements, but they knew they would not reside in them forever. One day, they would build cities on this planet. Despite this, many of them had not intended to leave yet, but, something happened, hundreds of years ago.
-- The reason for the sudden abandonment seems lost to time. However, there are two entities residing within two towers, perhaps they have the answer.
--
Arcane Scouts still do their rounds, patrolling within the towers, and patrolling the environment. Though they're all ghosting around, it seems they still believe they are reporting to someone. Who really knows, maybe they truly are.
-- Many rooms inside belonged to avid scientists and biochemists. So long as they avoided causing harm, they were given free rein and were permitted to experiment on whatever project they liked in their free time. This means some very strange things can be found deep in the towers. While a great deal of these are mechanical, don't count out organics.
- Design-- Consistent designs--- They will always have the logo present at least once, most commonly on the very top of the tower.
--- The ships are dug deeper into the ground, than they rise high into the sky.
--- Ships are generally anywhere from octagonal, to heptagonal. Designs tend to be sharp.
-- Varying designs--- Active ships will have pulsing colors (the blue shown here), inactive ones are faded.
--- The pulsing colors can be any color, not just blue.
--- Some towers are much more worn down that others...
kinda sus... Though most of them are hard to get into anyway.
