- please welcome three new ocs: dylan, ambrose, and halcyon v.4
- dylan (left) is space-themed, one of my major interests. its probably not obvious, but hes the one thats creating the sparkling light. all ive got for him is that he's probably an alien of some sort. he wears big jumpers (sweaters, for the american folk) and really loose clothes in general, but it has shiny white armour-esque shoulder, elbow and shin protection. we all support diversity and inclusivity here, so he's partially blind. no cool story, he was just born that way, i think. im making most of this up on the spot.
hes kinda shy, and adores plants. all of them are sort of immortal and hes the oldest, and can be very protective over the other two. most introverted, and tends to disappear for a month then reappear with heaps of rare flowers and gifts to apologise.
ambrose (aka amber, or brose) (middle), is based on another big interest, birds. not too original, but their corvid skull is tied to their transformation. taking it off, theyre pretty much human. with it on like a hat, like in the picture, theyre in an in-between state. after pulling it over their eyes, they become a creature. its a bit like a four-winged hippogriff, but a bit more skeletal and monstrous. as a human, theyre bald and androgynous, albeit with both a curved chest and solid shoulders. these, in their halfway and creature form, help hold the necessary muscles for flight. the most vicious of them all, but this is often unintentional. they also are the type to make the sweetest acts; such as reading a book on a dark night to them both. very passionate and mercurial. they love kids, but has a fae-like tendency to take and look after any children they encounter, then return them a week or two later to their worried guardians. the kids always have such wonderful and beautiful stories to tell though.
halcyon v.4, (aka "v4/vee-four" or "hal") (right) is the fourth in a series of ai ocs ive already made. a.is being the last of my major interests. shes covered in a thin layer of skin-like polymer and decorated with metal and plastic. she prefers to communicate via sign language. her hair is very important to her; each one holds chains of nanobots she can use to sense the world around her in ways biological creatures could only imagine. in cutting a hair, which may cause her pain unless she shuts her receptors off, the chain disintegrates. one disintegrated, they act as medical nanobots, aiding in both healing and fixing of biological and her own mechanical body.
the youngest of them all, she sometimes feels suffocated by them being so overprotective. she does have her own type of emotions, even though they are simulated. her response to anyone bringing that up though would be to remind you that your emotions are simulated by chemicals and are just as unique to each individual. she can appear quite cold and distant most of the time, however. a bit egocentric.
i think im going to take this image into photoshop and enhance it into a lineless photorealistic piece.
