also! i love cody and elijah so much.. when they first met elijah was like “this girl that should have died twenty years ago just walked out of the woods covered in mud. i think i’m in love” and cody has a v low sense of self preservation (and also just at the time did not really care about dying) so when elijah (a boy she’d never seen before in her life) offered to let her move in she just said sure why not and now they’re here
