A short summary of the chaos of this class Zoom call:
- - Sorrelstar can't figure out technology. She's been talking while muted for ten minutes while Frostwish tries to explain to her how to unmute. This takes most of class, during which everyone else just does whatever.
- Frostwish hasn't stopped facepalming since the call started.
- Pinestep's been unmuted the entire time, but can't for the life of him figure out how to mute. He's taking advantage of this by constantly telling really dumb jokes.
- Mudflake is recording and planning to post all of this madness on YouTube later. Hats are boring, so he's wearing a traffic cone.
- Snailheart tried to say her camera was broken, but everyone knew that was a lie, so she just tilted the camera so you can only see the tops of her ears.
- Amberstrike: the eternal eyebrow raise. She's just silently judging everyone, except she's talking to herself with her mic muted about how stupid everyone is.
- Doveflame keeps interrupting the chaos with slightly less dumb jokes in response to Pinestep's very dumb jokes.
- Pebbleflight and Dovecall aren't even paying attention. They're on Discord chatting with each other. Dovecall has a second screen on the side and is actually trying to hide the fact that she's on Discord; Pebbleflight doesn't care and knows Sorrelstar doesn't either.
- Pebbleflight forgot to mute and everyone can hear her laughing every now and then. She'll probably have a mild breakdown about this later.
- Cindersong and Deerblaze are having their own conversation in the chat, commenting on the dumb things everyone else is doing. Everyone can see their conversation, but Cinder and Deer don't know that. They also have no idea that virtual backgrounds are a thing and are super confused how everyone is calling from these random places.
- Briarpaw's mic is dead. She keeps yelling at everyone to shut up, but all anyone hears is angry static.
- Cedarpaw and Sagepaw are in a heated debate about literally nothing and keep unmuting to yell something angrily at the other.
- Shimmerpaw has tuned out the madness with calm music on Spotify, and is also making flower crowns irl. She keeps making a really funny annoyed expression (crinkling her nose) whenever an ad interrupts her music. She just.. happens to be out in her garden during a class Zoom call.
- No one knows where Owltalon is. Where in the name of StarClan is Owltalon?? OWLTALON?? HELLO?? YOU THERE, BUDDY??
- - Pinestep keeps calling for Owltalon, despite the fact that it's pretty clear Owl's device is silenced and he can't hear anyone.
- Everyone is talking over one another and there's loud music coming from who knows where.
- The ??? appeared halfway through class. No one is quite sure who they are or why they're there, but the assumption is that someone (we're all looking at you, Mudflake) sent the call info to a friend so they could join the call and watch the chaos.
- Sorrelstar lost connection while trying to regain control, and ownership of the call fell to Skykit.
- Skykit started a dictatorship and named everyone Skykitians of the Skykit Empire. She's better with tech than Sorrelstar, and blocks Sorrel from rejoining the call.
- Everyone should probably get detention or a warning or something, but because what even is digital detention, and Sorrelstar's such a nice teacher (and also she'd probably lose her job), she doesn't report the mess and class is sliiiightly less chaotic the next day.
