i'm well aware that the song nina cried power isn't about pride specifically, but with everything currently going on in the world, i think a song about civil rights activism still fits the bill. pride is never an easy time for me, but i'm powering through.

there's more i'd like to say, but i'll keep it short: stand up for people of color, lgbt+ folk, people with disabilities, and people who deserve better. black lives matter. do a little reading on the philippines' anti-terror bill, if you can. awareness is always the first step to change.
