As for my idea for them I feel like they would be a forest guardian that roams throughout the forest they live in protecting the wildlife and the forest it's self from any danger that may wonder in. They live within a small cave thats nestled within the roots of a lone cherry blossom tree at the center of the forest. They also get along quite well with the deer and wolves that also inhabit the forest.

Legend says that they have been on this earth since the beginning of time quietly watching and observing all manners of life as the years and season's go by.

They are referred to as Hajime most often by human's, which translates to the word beginning in English. The reason humanity has started calling them Hajime is due to sighting and stories of them being passed down through the centuries to the point that humanity truly believes that they have been here since the dawn of time. Whether this is they're real name is unknown, but regardless it is the name that has survived throughout the years.
