"i'm just here on business. i really like your pink fur. you're like the cotton candy of the jungle! i always wanted an animal friend. but i thought it would be like a goldfish. or a dinosaur! but i guess fate had other plans for steven universe... and his best friend lion."

a spiritual redraw, sort of?? i drew lion once in 2015 and again in 2016, and i felt like coming back to that haha
i threw in steven as well! i've been feeling really confident with drawing humans lately and it's just so encouraging <33

Your version of Steven is really cute and charming - I love how plush the hair and Lion's mane look! + Your wrinkles on the shirt fabric are great! <3

with enough time and practice, i'm sure you will!! 4 years is no short amount of time, and even though i took many breaks from drawing, it's never too late to come back and sharpen a skill :>

aw, thank you so much!! i don't personally believe i have the best grip of hair/fur physics, to be completely honest, so i'm glad it came out nicely in this one :0 drawing steven was tricky, but a lot of fun!!
