Yeah so apparently this took less time to finish than my doughboy cartoon thing. What we have here is a Belgian soldier, c.1914ish. If anyone can ID this guy, that'd be pretty cool.

I didn't intend to go over-the-top (haha! get it?) with the shading but here we are, I decided to put this in intermediate.

I used a photo reference but went and stylized it, but like I said, I went nuts with the shading and lighting. The original photo labels him as French, but he's actually Belgian.
