My dog Max is about 3 years old now, but he still acts like a puppy. I got him at a very difficult time in my life when I was struggling with my mental health issues. He has helped me so much and although he acted calm at the shelter, he is a total nut job! He barks to get my attention, follows me everywhere around my house (even the bathroom), sleeps on my lap when I watch TV, and sleeps in the crook of my legs at night. He’s not a small dog either, he’s about 40 lbs. he loves it when I pick him up and hold him against my chest. This malk dog looks just like him, Max even has a green collar, even though I preferred him in red. He even has a tail that curls over, although his isn’t as fluffy and is more of a fishhook. My older brother who practices witchcraft pointed out that Max is my familiar, and without a doubt, he is. Max’s personality perfectly fits with mine and he helps me feel better every day.
