There'll be two maps: one of the inside of your Kingdom and one of the outside.
Your inside kingdom is NOT custom designed. I repeat,

Before you have your Rulers, your Kingdom looks like this:
Why? Because all the parts shaded in gray are parts you haven't unlocked yet. You can unlock new areas by purchasing them using Scales or Nails.
Since you have the starter elements electric and water, you can only get dragons that are of that element. But you can buy expansions for your kingdom!
If you want to be able to get a different element, you have to buy an expansion. You can pay for them with either Scales or Nails. You can get Scales and Nails while Journeying.
You start out with 100 Scales and 100 Nails. Nails are rarer and harder to find than Scales.
In order to Journey, you must go to it's page [url=...]here[/url] and fill out the form.
After your dragons return from Journeying, they can bring some Scales and Nails back. They can also find Dragon Eggs, which are rare and therefore hard to find. You can hatch your egg at the [url=...]Transfer Station[/url]
