Daemonium Lupo (Closed species; WIP)

Postby DustyZoiveon » Fri Sep 27, 2019 10:56 am

Species I've had for like ~7+ years that I'm gonna be slowly opening to people. Closed right now, and it's gonna be opening on PokeHeroes first (as I'm actually social on there and thus would be better able to keep track of things) before I decide if I'm opening to the public. Please don't comment until I finish the formatting, ty!

Progress paused for Inktober lol. Just gotta finish the feather wings and add on the base colour layers, and then finish the description and stuff.

Introducing the Daemonium Lupos!
A species of dragon that has evolved to look like super colourful fluffy winged dogs so that they could get close to humans and take all their shiny things.

Each Daemonium starts out with 9 colours: Red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, violet, fuchsia, and white. The order and amount of each colour is different for each Daemonium, but every Daemonium has a white mark at the tip of their tails and a black nose to identify them by. They have a pair of small horns that are easily-hidden under their fur, a pair of wings, and colourful tongues, claws, and teeth. If they become greedy and mean as they grow older, their fur colours will dull until they’re just a dark monochrome version of what they used to look like; the only colour that doesn’t change at all throughout their life is the white markings, as well as anywhere that's not fur. Most Daemonium turn out this way, but if they are raised by another species and taught self-control, they can keep their baby colours throughout their whole lives.

Their wings are feathered at birth, but they can learn how to shed the feathers when they get older. This reveals bat-like wings underneath, though it usually takes a few months for said feathers to grow back. It is much easier for them to fly with their bat wings, but they tend to scare off humans. Because of this, most Daemoniums tend to keep their feathers grown out unless they’re happy with their hoard and choose to move back into a volcano.

Their skin is made up of tough dragon scales, and their tails are thick at the base and thinner at the tip, with the fur getting longer towards the tips of their tails to imitate the shape of a dog tail.
