These are robotic dogs from the company Future Tech (Yes, not the most original name :p). The dog shown is v1dx, the first dog ever made by Future Tech. It's name means that it is a version 1, design x, meaning it is not a design, but a prototype. This is not the dog's name, but a code. The name I have given it would be something like this - t176(rd). The code is only used for identifying the dog.
Version 1 dogs were very easily identified as robots. They had a flexible metal skin, much like cloth, and their bones were made out of steel. Their eyes were made of a small metal disk with a hole in the center, which served as a pupil. Lasers were used as sensors, which recorded everything and sent it to a computer, a.k.a., the brain.
The Bloody History
The scientists at Future Tech never mastered anatomy, but as the years passed, the versions and designs got more and more realistic. Future Tech only lasted about 75 years, but in that time they were able to create thousands of robotic dogs. Though they experimented with other animals, none worked as well as dogs and other canines. 77 years after Future Tech started, tradgety struck. One of their most dangerous experiments, i719(rd), nicknamed experiment 007, killed a lab assistant and escaped, right after setting the laboratory on fire. All people were killed in the fire, but none of the experiments were harmed. Now, these dogs are scattered all over the world, unable to be hurt or killed.
A few brave people have united to adopt and train the dogs, in hope that they can save the rest of the world from them. Will you choose to join, or hide from the experiments like the rest of the world?
To Join the Rebellion
First, you must find a robotic dog that will allow you to adopt it. Only dogs with a green circle can be adopted. A red circle means the dog is taken. After that, you have to prove that you have what it takes to keep the dog. More information can be found on each dog's page. For some dogs, you will be required to write a story, pay me, or complete another task. Once you have done this, the dog will be yours, until you either do not want it, or it has run away due to lack of care.
Remember, you can only adopt one dog per two weeks, and have a maximum of 5 dogs each. To get any more, you will have to send one back to me, where it will be adopted again.
Also, each dog will come with a special code, much like my dogs, i719(rd) and t176(rd), as well as the example, v1dx. You can choose to keep the code or re-name it to any name of your choice.
Breeding?
Breeding in the robotic dogs species is a rare occurence, as most dogs are male due to a defect in their creation at the lab. In order to breed, you must have two robotic dogs of different genders from the same version. This means you cannot breed a version 1 dog with a v2, and so on. You must also have proven that you can care for the dogs, by owning them for a minimum of a week before beeding. You can breed a dog with someone else's, but only if you both agree and send in the form to me by PM. The first one to send it in will get the last pup if an odd number of pups is born.
Remember that Robotic dogs can only breed with other Robotic dogs, which means that even if the dog you adopt id your fursona's mate, they cannot breed together.

The Puppies
Once in awhile, a puppy will have random mutations or a different design. There is no way to know which, if any, your puppy may have, as it is completely random. Please do not ask for a certain mutation for a puppy in a litter, as you will be ignored.
