Mewmont Poodles is a dog kennel ARPG that focus on producing the best line of Standard Poodles possible while also competing in competitions and having fun. Although not all of our colors are to breed standard we only breed dogs with the best confirmation and personalities. All of our Poodles are kept in a Continental cut and trained in the basics. With some time and patients you may even have your dog trained in retrieving, dock diving, and more!

• Rules may be changed
• More information will be added to leveling and training as I go
• Please be patient and do not harass/pester/ or repeatedly remind artists
• Negativity/harassing behaviors will not be tolerated.
• All Poodles must have realistic designs
• Art/writing used must follow CS rules.
• Give credit to the artist for the design.
• Do not change designs in anyway
• You will not be added to the original images.

• Mewmont Poodles is a realistic ARPG, which means if it wouldn't happen in real life it probably won't happen here
• Poodles can not have scars, be blind, deaf, or have any sort of health issues.
• You may only have one kennel and one handler
• You must have a handler. once your started poodle is posted you have one month to create a handler
• Your kennel may only contain your owned official poodles

• You must maintain a thread/website for your kennel.
• If you do not reach level 1 and post on the archive to confirm this within a month, your poodle will be rehomed.
This does not apply to COPPA members, as they can't post on the archive thread.
• You must keep track of the number of poodles you have
• You are responsible for keeping track of your dog's training level
• If you are banned from Mewmont OR Chicken Smoothie, you may not keep the poodle. All poodles will be marked as retired.



• You may only redeem your free starter once.
• You are responsible to keep any eye out for your starter dog. Artists will not message you to let it know when it is posted.
•If you do not claim your starter poodle and it gets rehomed, you may only get another poodle through adopts or a paid custom.
• If you rehome your starter of your own accord, you may only get another through adopts or a paid custom.
• You may order 1 custom maximum per month. Customs reset on the first.


• At the time you may only trade your poodles.
• You may not trade your poodle outside of Mewmont
• You may retire your dog, it will then reconsidered as a NPC and will not be able to breed or compete
• You must post a forum on the archives to retire a dog
• Retired dogs do not count towards your limit

• Breeding rules will be found on the breeding page





• Guest artists may make:
» 1 custom poodle for themselves upon hiring.
» Adoptables only, NOT customs or founders.


• Artists may make:
» 1 custom poodle fore themselves upon hiring.
» 3 additional custom poodles for themselves yearly (every 4 months) provided that they are active.
» A special birthday custom, provided that they are active and confirm the custom with Mewmew. before posting.
» Adoptables, paid customs for others and free breedings.


• Artists are expected to:
» Be active and produce realistic, quality designs.
» They will be removed if they are inactive without communicating with mewmew.
» Make all adopts on oekaki canvas.
» Do not add scars
» Ask for payment for customs.
» Using only the custom payment agreed upon by staff.
» Open up to 5 custom slots at a time, no more than 2 times a month.
» Complete orders in a timely manner.
» Custom orders should be completed in the same month that they are ordered.
» Judge competitions within a month.
» Mewmew. will take them over if you fail to judge them.
» Discuss awarding a RU with the rest of staff, if they would like to award one.
» A decision will be reached in 24 hours.


• Artists should NOT:
» Ask for payment for breedings.
» Make extensive lineart edits without mew's permission. ex. adding collars or different cut pattern
» Promise a RU before a staff decision has been reached.
Ex: Don't start or close a competition saying there will be a RU.
» Take more custom orders before previous orders are completed.
» Open / accept customs during the last week of the month.

These are the colors that are recognized by the AKC as breed standard. They are all solids. They are the only coloring allowed in conformation shows.



These colors can be register but can not participate in the conformation ring. They are any two colors and are not considered solids. They also include phantom colors. They sometimes maybe solid but have incomplete color of nose, lips and eye-rims or are the wrong color for that standard color.



It is preferred to shades of brown eye colors but poodles may also have different shades of amber or blue.




When you go to adopt a dog there are a few things you will see on their page that you will need to fill out. The first is a registered name. This is your dog's name that will be used in competitions. The second thing that you will see is competitions. You can pick up to 3 types of competitions to train your dog in and will focus on competing in.



To get your starter dog all you need to do is fill out the forum below and post it on the main page. An artist will eventually claim it. After that just keep an eye out on the front page to see if your dog is posted! Artists will most likely not message you when your dog is posted.

There are two ways to participate in Mewmont Poodles; Leveling up your kennel and training your dogs. Each are very important to progress in the ARPG. It level will have 3-4 tasks you must complete in order to progress to the next level. All art must be at least lines and flat colored. All writing must be at least 200 words unless stated otherwise.




In order to keep your start poodle you must reach level one in a month.



Level 0:
You can have: One Poodle (your starter)
- Get your starter
- Make kennel thread/website
- Make a handler
- Write or draw your handler first meeting your starter poodle(100+ words)

Level 1:
You can have: Two Poodles
- Describe your kennel
- Give your handler a personality
- Give a poodle a personality


Level 2:
You can have: Two Poodles
- Draw or write a scene of how your start poodle feels about your new poodle (200 words min)
- Feeding Time! Draw a scene or write a story on what feeding time is like at your kennel (200 words min)
-Train one poodle in one of the basics (see training for details)
- Give your second poodle a personality


Level 3:
You can have: Four Poodles
- Draw or write a scene of your handler bonding with one of your poodles (200 words)
- Train one poodle in one of the basics (see training for details)
- Write or draw a scene of your choice

Level 4:
You can have: Four Poodles
- Write about how one of your poodles acts before a competition (min 150 words)
- Write or draw a scene of at last two of your poodles playing together
- Draw or write a scene of one of your poodles getting groomed (200 mins)
- Write or draw a scene of your handler on a walk with one or all of your poodles (400 words)

Level 5:
You can have: Six Poodles

You must train each dog separately to be able to compete in different types of competitions. There are four different training levels for your dogs along with trick training; novice, advance beginner, intermediate, and expert. Every poodle starts off at the novice level, meaning this dog has no training. In order to reach the next training level you must complete each training task. You do not need to rush through the training. Once you reach expert level in training you can train your dog tricks. Feel free to suggest more training tasks by sending a pm to mewmew.


Level novice:
- watch me, important to have all of your dog's attention on you
- sit
- down
- stay / sit,stay
- come
- leave it
- off

Level advanced beginner :
- hup/up, getting dog to jump up such as into a car
- heel
- down, stay
- sit, down, sit
- paw, important for grooming
- place, bed, or crate
- okay, releases dog from whatever position but we are still working
- okay go, releases dog from whatever position and lets them do what they want


Level intermediate:
- hush/ quiet
-bring it
- stand still
- hold, dog holds item in mouth
- retrieve/fetch
- stop , dog immediately stops whatever they are doing


Level expert:
- search
- jump
- through, dog goes through tunnel or like

Trick Training
- spin
- sit pretty
- speak
