I ended up making it look more realistic than intended 🤷‍♀️
I've never tried drawing water droplets realistically, so it might not look the best.. the lighting/highlights kinda sucks too
I really hope this isn't too gory haha... if it is, I'll gladly put a cover on it or something c;

Shark finning remains problematic around the world; it’s estimated that millions of these apex predators are killed each year to be used for medicines, and in the making of shark fin soup. But we need sharks to have healthy and abundant oceans. Sharks play a critical role in their ecosystems by maintaining population balance among species below them in the food chain.

and I completely agree; I love sharks and it really saddens me to see millions upon millions of them killed for faux medication and status symbols. Also out of fear, when the truth is that soda pop machines kill more people per year than sharks do :c
I watched the documentary Sharkwater (which is great, by the way!! They came out with a second one too) and they say it's estimated that the shark population has declined by 90%. I really hope we are able to turn this around and 'undo' it so to speak!
Anyway, this is an amazing piece of artwork ♡

In fact, Florida, the state where shark finning rates are highest, I believe bills are being passed that prohibit shark finning? I'm not too sure, but I've heard it from @sharkallies on Instagram!

Definitely!! It's scary the alarming rate in which sharks are being killed for their fins. All these lives are not worth it for merely some traditional folk medicine or shark fin soup.

Ah nice, that's one way the word can be spread! I'm glad that the creator of the game chose to add that feature. Sadly, I don't play it 😂
