He is awake, but too afraid to open his eyes. A frigid drought glazes his face and arms as he listens to an unfamiliar silence settle in his ears. As the tension rises, so does he, only to find himself in his bedroom - or, rather, in the deceptive clutch of a mirage.

The camera shifts over to The Host, who continues to talk about the situation, and then it pans over to the next person-

I tried very hard to find something that'd work as (facial) bandages, and the aviator scarf was the best I could do. It doesn't look awful, but certainly not as good as I'd hoped. Either way, I'm pretty happy with this dress-up! The character here is The Author/The Host (although I know they're not actually the same character, I like that "theory", so that's what I've based this on). The character's from Danger in Fiction, a series of three or four skits on Youtube.

Thank you! I'm glad he was recognizable - it took me a while to figure out what all I wanted to include, and how to layer them (the baseball bat in particular, being an item meant to be held).
