Creating a thread and getting ready to adopt
★ You can post your herd/Deori page on the Oekaki, here, or anywhere else (deviantart, toyhouse, etc).
★ Keep in mind that these guys live in tropical environments and near a dragons' den, and build around that.
☆ You can even use a website if it's easier for you.
☆ Please make sure that your page does not have any personal information that could break CS' rules.
★ You can set up your thread/website however you'd like
★ COPPA members do not have to create a page, but are restricted to the level 1 limit.
Time to level up!
★ You will start off at the beginners stage.
★ You level up by building up your herd, giving them a place to live, and creating backstories for them.
★ As you complete tasks, you can post on the level up thread to advance!
★ No worries if you complete tasks for future levels, it just means you won't have to do it later!
★ If something goes wrong or needs fixed, you'll be contacted about it.
After level 10...
★ You have the option of making multiple herds every 10 levels if you choose.
☆ This would provide you with more opportunities to get items, as well as coming across random encounters.
★ You can use the same layout as your first herd, but the story and area must not be the same.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________
Take note that these are vague ideas on how your herd functions. How it actually works depends on you.Hierarchs
Hierarchs are leaders of the herd,
most oftenly there is a pair of
mates who rule over. Siblings have
been known to branch off to run a
herd together with their mates, often
times, these herds will fail.
Hierarchs are in charge of decisions,
including welcoming Deori into their
herd, chasing them off, sending patrols
and gatherers out, and making sure
everyone is safe.
Patrollers
Patrollers are the guards of the herd,
they often leave the safety of their
friends in order to make sure that
all is well in their territory. They
check to see if trespassers have
passed through, or territorial animals
and other herds have tried to take
over, or if the dragon has caused any
damage to the place that they live.

Healers
Healers usually have their own
secluded area where they can
tend to sick and weak Deori.
Healers are chosen as newborns,
and after a couple of months of
life, will leave the nursery to
stay and work with the current
healer. Some healers work in
pairs, but are not allowed to
work as a mated pair.
Gatherers
Gatherers are just as their name
describes; they go out during the
day in order to gather insects,
fruits, vegetables, roots, and
berries. They are the only real
source of food for the herd.
Followers
Other Deori that do not have any
specific roles in the herd. These are
usually new Deori that have not
been given anything to do.

Nobles
Nobles are known to stay away from
getting their hooves and talons dirty.
Some nobles stay around the
hierarch and assist them with
sending out patrols, gathering parties,
and even set up time schedules for
caretakers to take young calves to
get their gems and items.
Caretakers
Caretakers tend to young calves
in the nursery area while their
parents are out. They have an
important role to play while
being one of the lowest tiers,
they must go with calves when
they're ready to grow to collect
gems from the dragon den
nearby.
