Update about manchado
Was finally able to find some more information about manchado.
Credit for this information came from a group called Equine Color Genetics and was provided by Lesli Kathman, author of
The Equine TapestryShe stated that manchado is " behaves as a rare recessive"
It probably occurs in a specific location more heavily because of the foundation effect.
So essentially it's a recessive gene that is very rare. So I'm going to change the rate at which it passes on from 50% to 25%
Disclaimer-
I'm unsure of how manchado is passed down. From what I've read it originates in Argentina and only horses with lineage traced back to Argentina can have it. For the sake of my sanity we are going to call this "kitm" and it will pass the same as tobiano (also a kit linked pattern)_
Edit: Dec. 1st 2o18
It I'd 100% finished! Finally!
There will be a tackless version and a no white version

Edit Nov. 28th
Did a more refined sketch of his tack. I only have mobile so I need to go to my puffin app so I can rename the layers. It's a confusing mess and I'm wasting time by double checking each layer 50 times.
I edited his manchado layer a bit and put white in his mane/tail (the pattern is still there, just turned off so I can see the tack lines)
I have plans to get the final lines on the tack finished today and if I'm lucky I'll get it LAed too

Edit: Nov. 23rd
I like the body pattern but still not sure about he neck. I've redone it several times. I think it's the curve that is throwing me off.
Will be working on the tack now

I really hate how the "edit me" and "color me" buttons are so close together. I have ruined 3 templates by clicking the wrong thing now. Anyway.
This is a commission for CrazyB. This is the first "sketch" of the main design
