He doesn't know who he is..
The pup finally woke up, yawning. He got up and stretched, pausing to look around. "Where am I?" He asked. "You're in my den, where you last fell asleep." He heard a voice say. The pup remembed Zinta, who had saved him from the fire. Zinta stood up, towering over him. "Would you like to go outside?" Zinta asked. The pup nodded. "Now, do you know your name?" Zinta asked. The pup paused. "I-I don't know my name..." The pup said. Zinta smiled. "That's okay." She said. "The fire must have shocked you, young pup/kit." "I'm not a cat dog!" The pup barked. Zinta smiled. "That what are you?" She asked softly. He paused. "I don't know.." He said. Zinta sighed and pressed her nose up to the pup. "You don't remember anything, do you?" She asked, frowning. The pup sighed and shook his head as a 'no'. "That is okay." Zinta replied, leading the pup out of the den. The pup followed after her. "Where are we going?" he asked Zinta. "To the lake." She said. The pup continued walking after her. "It might help you remember something." Zinta said.

They finally arrived at the lake. The water was light blue and crystal clear. Zinta walked over to the lake. She touched her nose to the water, it making small ripples. The pup padded up next to her. "What are you doing?" he asked. Zinta looked up. "Touch your nose to the water." She said. The pup obeyed. He lightly touched his nose to the water and curled up beside it, falling asleep. Zinta smiled. She walked away.

~Meanwhile~
The fire was still burning. It hadn't been put out yet, but luckily, the only place it was burning was in a den a few feet away from where the pup had been. The only way it could stop burning was to be put out by a water dragon, but water dragon's were rare and fire dragons hated them. The ground was covered in ashes, not like it would be anything. The trees and plants were all burnt, most of them gone. There was no one there, all was silent..

A pair of blue eyes flashed at the pup. "You are the last of your kind.." They said. "What am I? How do you know?" He asked, but the eyes disapeared and he woke up, panting. "Zinta?" he asked. She was no where in sight..

Sorry, epic fail. My friend kept talking and I couldn't concentrate. I'll go back and edit it when I have peace and quiet..
