Krieus Dragons are small, mammalian creatures despite their
reptilian head. With the males of the species reaching only
around 4 feet high, females around 3 1/2, they make perfect
companions for humans. While small in stature, these dragons
are quite strong, even so much to easily overpower a human or
the modern dog. Their head is hairless and often sports horns
or antlers, and a hornless dragon seen as a rarity among the species.
While their head has smooth, tough skin and scaling, a furry
mane sprouts from the back of their necks, and sometimes even
around their throat too. Their feline body is covered in short fur like that
of a big cat's and the only other thick fur resides as a tuft on the tip
of their tail. Krieus use their tails for balance while climbing, though
depending on the region in which they live, you may see one with a
shorter tail or even no tail.

Through the thick brambles of the woods, you spot an earthy toned shape slink among the undergrowth. By its movements, it seems to be tracking something. Prey perhaps? Trying to get a closer look, you move forward from behind the bush you are hidden behind. A twig snaps and its amethyst eyes flicker to you, tail flicking in clear irritation at the disturbance. As its head rose and a snort was emitted, it's clear whatever it was hunting was now gone and its attention is settled fully upon you.

How do you tame it/gain trust after this encounter?: I keep low, knowing most are angered when something larger than them encounters them. I use food and other small items to entrigue it and keep it calm. Day after day I come back though it is a miracle I am alive after the first encounter. I notice it takes a liking in some of my foods and offer it snacks as a peace treaty.
