I joined drumline too and I hated it.. I couldnt even read the music and I was like the worst one on there
I was so bad they had 2 move me 2 like .. the xylophones or whatever

don't feel like ur a failure or that you'll never be good at anything bc it is pretty hard and stressful to be on the drumline

aa ye i did xylophone owo and honsetly the beeping thing just made my head hurt?? and like some of the teachers had to help me the whole time because i was so confused?? like they just told me your doing it wrong and it was just making my head spin tbh ;") im like w h a t k ey :")))

I was actually not 2 bad at xylophone but i was just 2 anxious to do it in HS idk what happened but I just couldn't do it anymore so now I quit and i'm in art and it's much better

Oh man, that doesn't sound like a good situation, DX. I can personally relate to this - I was never in drumline, but I get stressed very easily, and I basically have 0 self confidence sometimes, so I have mental breakdowns in situations like that too. So you're not alone!

I do hope you find something that suits you, though! And don't beat yourself up about it - we all have something that we just aren't really made for!
