ohhh man, you should do one of on my own too! like a different version but similar to this dress-up. on my own is one of my FAVORITE les mis songs. i have the cd and i like skipping to that song in particular. back when i had a big love phase with the musical, i always thought that it's such a masterpiece (idk if this is giving it too much praise but hERE u gO). especially this part:

"In the rain the pavement shines like silver
All the lights are misty in the river
In the darkness the trees are full of starlight
And all I see is him and me forever and forever"

i always imagine this exact romantic scene in paris and i just get whisked away
it's so sad/longing too but i wouldn't have it any other way

Reason I picked a little fall of rain is I love the line "I'll sleep in your embrace at last!" I was so angry when that line was cut from the film. Haha. I have a coat like eponine in real life and whenever I wear it my friend sings on my own to me haha. It's my favorite song I love it so much I always related to it as a child when I had my first squish (I'm aromantic and don't get crushes)
